The best bidding secret, that few people know about.

As a seller I normally would not want this to get around widely. So please don't tell a soul this secret.

I know only a select few of the buyers, the smart ones, ever read these guides so I don't think it will adversely impact my sales. Also only a select few bidders know this, perhaps YOU already know this technique.

It is widely known that to win an auction the bidder must never show his or her intentions. THAT BIDDER usually wins the auction.

It's also known by the sellers (of course), that bidders can get caught up merely in the competition of bidding and forget the real value of what they are bidding for. They invariably OVERBID.

If you could just place your maximum bid for an item only 6 seconds before the end of the the auction, absolutely nobody would be able to outbid you. WOULDN'T THAT BE GREAT?

Now you can!!

You will win the auction almost every time, with two exceptions (if a reserve that's not met, or another bidder's proxy bid).

FACT: No bidder is fast enough to place a bid on top of yours based on time if you place yours within SIX SECONDS of the end of the auction.

You can do this with the help of third party bid management software called SNIPING software. In fact, eBay does not object to this bidding technique to my knowledge.

It does not violate any bidding rule since you are actually placing your maximum bid on the item, knowing the maximum value you want to place on the item, but doing so with the help of of a FRIEND, software technology placing the bids for you just 6 seconds prior to the auction's end.

I cannot give you specific names of companies since this may violate an eBay rule, however if you Google the words "sniping " or "bid management" you should find many good companies.

Be aware that they will ask you to supply your eBay name and your eBay password. Don't worry about doing this. Some of the bid management companies give you a free trial period, which is nice. Some of the bid management sites have interesting features such as allowing you to group your SNIPES so that you can set up bids on several of the same items from different sellers, and as soon as you win ONE auction in the group all the other SNIPES end.

The cost of this service is minimal and you will save alot of money by winning the auctions you bid on at a much lower cost.

Some SNIPING services offer discounts if you place a certain amount in the till ahead of time. Don't worry, that's perfectly OK.

Another great feature of BID MANAGEMENT is if you are a busy person who can't sit by the computer all hours of the day and night, this automates your bidding so you do not have to be there. It's like having a bidding butler.
